This exquisite little silver bird brooch has flown over two centuries to find us here today. Crafted in delicate silver filigree, the three-dimensional bird is remarkably naturalistic. She is a true treasure; each feather is wrought in lacy silver wire. The piece fastens with the c-clasp common to the 19th Century. This brooch is small and lightweight, perfect for a blouse or sweater. Circa 1820.
Details.....The brooch measures 1.76" by .85" by .35". In Good Antique Condition, with wear in keeping with its age. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; it is a part of their charm.
